About

It was 3 am on a Tuesday morning when I looked at my than 4 month old baby and said I can’t do this any more. I though of my wonderful boyfriend and though I can’t do this to him any more.  Out of  work, lack sleep, no time for me, and fighting Postpartum Depression, life was in a downward spiral. Finally I walked into the bathroom, looked into the mirror and said “I can’t do this to you any more.” Looking in the mirror I saw everything that I wasn’t and wanted to be slipping away and the person looking back was a stranger.

Okay, so maybe it wasn’t on a Tuesday, but it was 3am when I realized that I needed to make a change.  It was time to reinvent myself physically, mentally, and  spiritually. It was time to stop waiting for the ‘right time’ to do things and instead start perusing my goals, opening my own doors, and see where that takes me. This blog will be about goal setting, finding the joy in life, my rants, and endless chatter about my darling baby (Bug), my supportive boyfriend (R), and my slightly abnormal but  always hilarious kitties (Conrad and Sophie). This is my journey through life and I hope you come along with me.

So, who is this person on the other side of the computer screen?

Well, I am a lover of lists, traveling, kissing small babies (usually mine since most people don’t like a stranger kissing their little one…), photography, consuming vast amounts of coffee, and reading. A bit of a bore, maybe. Sarcastic, who me ;). A constant contradiction, you got me there after all I hate the rain, but I love living in Seattle. Happy, usually. On an adventure, always.

Ice cream? Yes, thank you.

Thank you for visiting my blog! I am so proud of you for being real with yourself at a younger age. So many women it doesn’t hit them til they pass 40, so you have ahead start! Also, I wanted to quote something from the recetn movie Knight and Day. “Someday is a dangerous word, it is code for never”. Don’t let your somedays turn into never!

Thanks for visiting my blog. It is never, ever to late to reinvent. I have done it a few times, but have tried to stay true to my authentic self. =)

    Hi Samantha

Thanks for visiting my blog. How did you find me? I am intrigued – as a newbie blogger, there is so much to learn.

Wow – a very impressive bucket list and I love the inspiration behind your blog. We have some things in common, particularly the list writing. I’m a Virgo – blame on on my stars! Feel free to drop by my blog again to see how I go with this list!

Hello thanks for visiting my blog. Yep, my family/relatives usually say “oh you become ….” and the second sentence will be “when are you going to get married?” ….I know it’s normal but so annoying!

I am looking forward to read your blog! I like the idea of “re-invented”
