Morning Meditation

February 26, 2011

What would make you perfect? Different hair, a new job, a complete makeover? Maybe being better at a sport or if the right people liked you. Screw that. In the words of Lao Tzu “be content with what you have; rejoice in the way things are. When you realize there is nothing lacking, the whole world belongs to you.” It’s true.  Just look inside of you and see what is already there otherwise you will only chase after illusion after allusion to see that nothing, but yourself, can make you happy.

Sure there are areas that you could use to grow, but your pretty perfect just the way you are.
