Why Not Explore Your Inner Artist?

August 24, 2010
Everyone has one. Maybe you haven’t listened to it in years. Maybe you are well acquainted friends. What ever your relationship is with your creative side today is the day to let it run free.  Go outside your comfort zone and try new things.
Why not:
Paint a picture. Paint a mural. Paint someone’s face?
Buy some clay or Sculpey make a vase, a crazy wall hanging, or something to make your best friend smile?
Ask a friend to model for you?
Buy some fabric make a dress, a bag, or a costume for your dog?
Read a book about an artist that you don’t know much about and try to work in their style?
Become a Cubist, an Impressionist, a Fauvist, or a Dadaist?
Walk around your yard, your neighborhood, your nearest pile of junk to find objects to make a work of art?
Switch through the channels on the radio and draw what you hear?
Draw what you, your house, your world would look like if you were a cartoon?
Make a Lego sculpture?
How do you indulge your creativity?
